A tradition of kindness.

Season of Giving is STCU’s way of sharing joy with local nonprofits during the holidays.

Season of Giving is a tradition that reflects what we value most: Community, kindness, and making life better for those around us.

Every year, we surprise local organizations with donations that help them continue their incredible work. These gifts aren’t just about dollars; they’re about lifting spirits and showing gratitude for the people who make our neighborhoods stronger.

This season, there was a large effort around food security. We committed $350,000 to support food assistance programs across Eastern Washington, Central Washington, Tri-Cities, North Idaho, and Eastern Oregon. This will help local organizations meet growing need for food assistance.

Here are just a few of the groups we partnered with:

  • Altrusa International – Pendleton – $5,000.
  • Coulee City Chamber of Commerce – $5,000.
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Family Outreach Center – $5,000.
  • North Idaho College Food Pantry – $7,500.
  • Tri-Cities Food Bank – $10,000.

Fighting food insecurity was just one of the many ways we gave back. Altogether, we gave more than $500,000 with more than 70 gifts to organizations across STCU’s footprint, helping meet a variety of local needs. Some of those recipients include:

  • Unique Center for Athletes of All Needs (UCAN) – $5,000.
  • Communities in Schools of the Blue Mountain Region – $5,000.

Giving is more than just a season for us. Throughout the year we do it through the Here for Good Foundation. Read the donation stories to learn more.
