Am I eligible to join?

You don't have to be a teacher to join STCU, In fact, you’re eligible for membership if any of the following apply:

  • You live, work, worship, or attend college in Washington state and North Idaho (Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, and Shoshone counties).
  • You have relatives who are eligible. If you are related or married to anyone who meets the eligibility requirements described on this page — even if they have never actually joined the credit union — you can join STCU.
  • You work for an STCU Community Business Partner. Ask your employer if you qualify.
