Avoid denial of your STCU cards.

Traveling out of the area? Let STCU know before you go!

Our security systems are designed to block your debit or credit card if we detect someone is accessing your accounts far from your home. By taking a moment to alert STCU in advance of your travels, we can recognize your financial activity on the road, so you can avoid the inconvenience of blocked cards. (*See restrictions below.)

How to notify STCU of travel:

  1. Log into your online banking account on your phone, tablet, or desktop. (If you don't yet have access yet, you can register for online banking.)
  2. Choose "My accounts" in the menu (found under "More" in the mobile app).
    • Business members - look under "Self-service > select account" in STCU Business online banking/mobile app.
  3. Pick "Submit a travel notification."
  4. Select the cards you need while traveling.
  5. Schedule your travel time and location, and how to best reach you on the road.
  6. Submit your notification to STCU.

You can also notify us of your travel plans via live chat, or by calling (800) 858-3750 or visiting any STCU branch location during regular weekday business hours.
