Lindsey Myhre
From the time she started her STCU career in 2000 as an Accounting Assistant, Lindsey never said “no” to a challenge or opportunity. Elevated to senior leadership in 2015 and named CEO in 2025, Lindsey has been integral to shaping STCU’s core values, culture and strategic direction.

Raised in Colville, Wash., she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration – finance from Western Washington University, and an MBA through Western Governors University. In 2023, American Banker named Lindsey one of the 15 most powerful women in credit unions.
Among other community activities, Lindsey is current board president for Partners INW, an organization that provides food and critical services to thousands of vulnerable households in Eastern Washington and North Idaho. She is Past Chair and Past Treasurer of both Spokane’s University District Public Development Authority and University District Development Association and continues to serve as a University District Development Association board member.
A mother of two, she is president and an active volunteer for the East Valley High School Booster Club. True Northwesterners, the family enjoys skiing and snowboarding in winter, and lake life in summer.

Justin Botejue
Vice Chairperson
When elected in 2020, Justin became STCU’s youngest-ever elected board member.
Justin has been an STCU member since enrolling at Whitworth University, where he majored in political science with a focus on legislative policy. An avid learner, Justin completed his MBA at Whitworth in 2021.
Justin served at STCU in 2019 as an affiliate member of the STCU board. He works as Clinic Manager for Joya Child & Family Development, a Spokane nonprofit that provides occupational, physical and speech therapy, alongside special education services for children.
Justin is proud to call the Northwest home. He's devoted to helping the region flourish by serving in leadership roles for a variety of local non-profits.

Catherine Brazil
Catherine became an STCU member as a teen, and joined the board in 2014.
Dedicated to community service, she's currently on the boards for Hutton Settlement, Salvation Army, CCS Foundation, and the Honor Point Museum. She also is active with Greater Spokane Incorporated.
Catherine is a third-generation Husky, with a degree in political science and art history from the University of Washington, as well as a master's degree in international management from Whitworth University. These days, she wears two shades of purple: One as an STCU board member, and the other as regional director of government and community relations for UW.

Bill DeReu
Bill was elected to the STCU Board in 2023, after serving two years as an affiliate committee member.
A Montana native, he is currently the Vice President of Real Estate at PotlachDeltic Corporation. Bill brings a wealth of financial experience to the Board, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, which will no doubt prove useful as STCU continues to provide services across a wider geographical area. He believes in the concept of servant leadership and strives to live by STCU's motto: "Here for good."
Bill earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Montana, and holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in commercial real estate.

Addy Hatch
Chairperson
Addy is an award-winning communicator who made the jump from journalism to higher education.
Currently a senior brand writer for Washington State University, she was previously managing editor for The Spokesman-Review and a reporter for the Spokane Journal of Business
With degrees from the University of Washington and Northwestern University, Addy has taught at Eastern Washington University and served on several local boards and commissions.
Addy is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Spokane, joining the STCU board in 2019.

Steven Jones
Steven Jones joined the STCU Board of Directors in 2018 and currently serves as Chairman. A proud graduate of John R. Rogers High School, Steven is a retired Spokane attorney with deep roots in the local community.
A collegiate distance runner and former competitive marathoner, Steven has dedicated many years to community service. His involvement includes organizations such as Bloomsday, the YMCA, Spokane Sports, the Spokane Park Board, the Spokane Public Schools Foundation, ParaSport Spokane, and several other community groups.
Steven holds a degree in economics from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of Washington. He practiced law at Eymann Allison Hunter Jones P.S. before retiring. Earlier in his career, he also served as director of YMCA Camp Reed for two years.

Chris Morlan
Chris Morlan joined the STCU Board of Directors in 2013. A Spokane business owner, Chris operates a local architectural firm and brings both leadership and community perspective to the board.
A lifelong athlete, Chris competed in the men’s marathon trials for the 1996 U.S. Olympic team. Today, he continues his involvement in athletics by coaching post collegiate runners as part of the Spokane Distance Project, as well as high school cross country and track and field at Rogers High School.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Idaho. He is a husband and father and remains actively engaged in supporting young athletes and the Spokane community.

Jeff Perkins
Jeff, who joined the STCU Board in 2019, is a Boise State University graduate and operations manager for Post Falls-based Triple E Technologies.
He loves working with others to form innovative solutions, and has more than 25 years of experience with the Boundary County Community Hospital, Fry Healthcare Foundation, and other organizations.
Currently serving as a director of the Landings Home Owners Association, Jeff also volunteers at various youth programs and previously provided leadership to the Boundary County Chamber of Commerce and Boundary County Economic Development Council. His greatest treasure, Jeff says, is his wife, Karen, and their three sons.

Dori Sonntag
Dori was elected to the board in 2024 after 25 years of STCU membership.
An active community member, Dori has served on the boards of Women and Children’s Free Restaurant, Women Helping Women Fund and Eastern Washington Surf. She’s a firm believer in the power of community-centered organizations like STCU, and their potential to enact positive change.
Dori holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Gonzaga University, where she is the Chief Operating Officer for Advancement. She oversees the university’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts, connecting alumni and donors with opportunities to help GU thrive.

Tyler Whitney
Tyler Whitney recently returned to the Tri Cities after fifteen years in Spokane and North Idaho and is proud to support organizations that invest locally. He currently serves as an affiliate member on STCU’s Finance and Risk Committee and brings experience in law, public policy, and governance to the board of directors.
In his legal practice, Tyler works with consumer owned utilities that make long term investments in their communities. He also serves on the boards of the Mid Columbia Children’s Museum and his neighborhood homeowners’ association and is a member of the Community Advisory Board for the Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service at Washington State University.
A fourth generation graduate of Kennewick High School, Tyler has deep roots in the Tri Cities. He and his wife returned home to raise their two children near family. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Whitworth University and a law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Kathryn Gores
Kathryn Gores has been a STCU member for more than 30 years. She was elected to the Audit Committee in 2015 and has served as Chair since 2017.
Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Management emphasis from Washington State University and has completed the Certified Credit Union Volunteer program through the Credit Union National Association.
Her career spans both financial services and public education. She spent ten years working at a local financial institution before joining Spokane Public Schools, where she served for 17 years as a lead bookkeeper and two years as a Benefits Specialist. For the past five years, Kathryn has continued her work in benefits administration with the Central Valley School District.
Kathryn is passionate about supporting others and is deeply aligned with STCU’s mission and commitment to being Here for Good.

Lisa McCann
Lisa McCann has served on the Audit Committee since 2017. An STCU member for over 25 years, she remembers picking up her first checkbook at the Main branch with her mom, a teacher.
Lisa is a forensic accountant and brand protection leader in the high-tech industry. She currently works with the legal team of Juniper Networks, a networking solutions provider that powers the connections that matter most – from education to secure banking.
Lisa values STCU’s “Here for Good” commitment to the community and appreciates the opportunity to continue to serve and contribute her sound understanding of risk management and oversight.

Wayne Leonard
Chairperson
Wayne Leonard rejoined the STCU Audit Committee in 2025 after previously serving a full term from 2010 to 2014. Between terms, he continued his involvement as an affiliate member, bringing decades of experience in auditing, accounting, and financial oversight.
Wayne’s career includes serving as an Internal Audit Apprentice with the Washington State Lottery Commission, followed by eight years as an Auditor and Audit Manager for the Office of the Washington State Auditor. He later spent 13 years as Business Manager for the Deer Park School District and 16 years as Chief Financial Officer for the Mead School District, before retiring in 2021.
Wayne holds degrees from Washington State University and Eastern Washington University and brings a strong background in public finance and accountability to the Audit Committee.
