STCU members in February elected Justin Botejue— and reelected Dolores Humiston and Mike Rennaker — to the Board of Directors. Lisa McCann was reelected to the Audit Committee.

Botejue is the newest elected member, whereas Humiston, Rennaker, and McCann are incumbents. Each will serve a three-year term, beginning March 2020.
- Botejue served the past year as an affiliate board member at STCU, and currently works in the business development department at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Spokane. A graduate of Whitworth University, he has worked with federal, state, and local representatives on public policy. "I look forward to bringing my legislative experience to the board and contributing to the advocacy efforts of STCU and credit unions in general," he said.
- Humiston is the current chairwoman of the board, having been first elected in 2009. She has been an STCU member for 30 years and holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University and master’s degree in education administration from Gonzaga University.
- Rennaker has served since 2011. He is the owner of Rennaker Financial LLC, where he works as a financial advisor and investment manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management.
- McCann joined the Audit Committee in 2017. She is a certified public accountant who works in brand protection with Avaya, a global business communications firm. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Washington State University.
As a member-owned, cooperative financial institution, STCU is governed by its Board of Directors. Credit union members elect board members each February in an annual election. The board oversees the credit union’s president/CEO and sets policy and strategic direction. STCU’s three-person Audit Committee oversees STCU's financial practices.
