We're here to help.

In a time full of struggle and strife, some are hit harder than most.

In times of crisis, friends pitch in, and we at STCU want to do our part. Whether you need help with your loans or need a new one, let us know and we'll work with you to get through this.

Skip a payment.

If you’ve experienced loss of income, financial hardship, or have been impacted by the wildfires in our area, you may be eligible to skip your next loan payment with no fee. That includes credit cards and most auto, RV, and personal loans.*

Get started by logging into online banking.

Don't have online banking? Send us a message on our online chat, visit your nearest STCU branch, or call us during regular business hours at (509) 326.1954 in Washington or (800) 858.3750 toll-free.

Are you a business member impacted by the fires? Please reach out to your business banker, email business@stcu.org, or call (509) 344.2200 to see if you're eligible to skip a payment.

Please request to skip a payment at least five days before your loan payment is due; if you make your request later than that, the next payment may be skipped instead.

Remember to adjust any automatic payments associated with the loan you're skipping. Skipping a payment won't automatically change scheduled transfers or recurring payments you've already set up.

Disclosures

*By requesting a payment deferral, you understand your term will be extended, interest will continue to accrue, and the finance charges you pay over the life of the loan may increase. Your skipped payment will be processed within 1-2 days of your request in online banking or the mobile app.

For mortgage or home equity loan relief options, please contact us to discuss your situation. Business and commercial loan members should contact their STCU business Relationship Manager to review available options. Call STCU at (800) 858.3750 for details.

Loans that are ineligible for wildfire relief include: Delinquent loans, student loans, personal lines of credit, Credit Fit loans, Budget Fit loans, loans with balances less than $100 or greater than $75,000.00 and loans that have not had a payment applied yet. Ineligible credit cards include cards that have been delinquent more than twice, cards that are not in good standing, cards with a current balance of zero or less, and cards which have statements outside of the skip pay window.

1APR = Annual percent rate. All loans subject to approval. Must currently be an STCU member. STCU reserves the right to end, extend, or modify this promotion if we see a shift in member needs.

Payment example: For a $10,000 loan with a 60‑month term and a 2.99% APR, the monthly payment would be approximately $179.87.
