Meanwhile, STCU employees once again showed their passion for community service by setting a volunteering record for the credit union, logging 15,016 hours in 2024.
The volunteers included 41 employees who logged at least 80 volunteer hours over the past year. In response, STCU is providing a record number of year-end Volunteers Count grants, from $100 to $1,000.
Jacqui Sinder, Community Branch Manager at STCU’s Ritzville location, earned $1,000 for Lind-Ritzville Cooperative Schools, where she volunteered in 2024.
“This grant will be huge! Teachers have had to take cut after cut, and this will do so much for their classrooms. All three of my kids graduated from Lind-Ritzville so it’s a great way to show support,” said Jacqui.
“2024 was an uncertain year for many, so I think our members are happy to know that their credit union is helping organizations provide vital support for their communities,” said Ezra Eckhardt, STCU President and CEO. “Plus, the fact that so many employees dug deep to find the time and resources to volunteer and donate is really something to honor and be proud of.
