I first heard about STCU from my aunt, a longtime member who told me it was a great place to work. I started as an accounting assistant. From there, I always asked the “why” behind my work and always wanted to better understand the impact of my work on others. That curiosity helped me connect the dots between day-to-day work and the big-picture strategy.

From there, I moved into leadership roles like financial reporting manager, director of accounting and finance, VP of finance, and eventually EVP, CFO and Interim CEO. Each step taught me more about leading with both my head and my heart.

Along the way, I earned my MBA through our tuition reimbursement program, participated in our mentoring program, shadowed teammates across departments, spoke at conferences, and joined community boards. Every opportunity helped me grow and better understand our impact.

What makes me proudest is seeing others grow, too. I love seeing teammates who started in entry-level roles and now lead departments. It’s proof that when you own your development, ask questions, and stay curious, there’s no limit to where you can go at STCU.
