We’ve made a list and checked it twice.

Snowmen and icy driveways galore. Old man winter is knocking at your door.

Chilly weather home maintenance is no cup of hot cocoa. While the weather outside may be starting to get frightful, we have some tips to keep your home delightful:

Indoor:

  • Clean heavy snow off gutters.
  • Cover shrubs and plants during freeze warnings.
  • Clean winter tools after use and store in a heated space.
  • Trim or cut down trees and branches that are close to your home or powerlines.
  • Shut off water to outside faucets.
  • Drain outdoor hoses and store inside.
  • Store outdoor furniture in your garage or shed.
  • Clear driveway of snow and use sand or gravel for icy roads.

Outdoor:
