Keith Kelley has restored seven homes in the Spokane's West Central neighborhood, renting them by the room at reasonable rates and hiring crews of teens from Project Hope Spokane to keep up the yards. The houses look great, which matters to Keith, because there's an eighth house he's working to restore in the same Spokane neighborhood — the house where he and his wife, Kendra, are raising their children.
"I want the neighborhood to be a healthy place and a safe place, a great place for families," he says.
