Business Debit Mastercard top

With new embedded microchips, your STCU Business Debit Mastercard® is safer than ever for purchases and ATM transactions. Each transaction and purchase is automatically recorded on your account statement, making end-of-month bookkeeping easy.

Where available, use the merchant's chip reader and your personal identification number (PIN) to complete your debit card transaction. At self-service gas stations and other locations not yet chip-enabled, slide your card through the reader and sign for your transaction.

Use your debit card at millions of store locations and online sites. Get cash or manage your accounts at surcharge-free ATMs displaying the CO-OP or STCU logos. There's no charge for your first debit card or to renew it. (Fees for lost cards may apply.)

Learn more about updating your account and receiving a new STCU Debit Mastercard:

Q: Is there any cost for my new STCU Debit Mastercard?

A: No, there is no fee to receive your new debit card.

Q: What information do I need to activate my card and to select my PIN?

A: You must have your new debit card, the Social Security number for the primary account owner, and be calling from your home phone, which is the number you have on record at STCU.

Q: We have a joint account, so who is the primary account owner?

A: The primary account owner is the one whose name appears above the mailing address of your account statement. Or simply log into online banking and look for the full name of the primary account owner listed under Settings > Profile.

Q: So, even though my name is on the Debit Mastercard, if I'm a joint account owner, I would need to call from the primary account owner's "home" phone and to have his or her Social Security number to activate my card and to select my PIN?

A: Yes, that is how the secure card activation system works.

Q: Will I need to update merchants who automatically bill my debit card with my new card number?

A: Yes. You must contact those merchants with your new debit card number to avoid any possibility of late payments or service disruptions.

Q: Does STCU Debit Mastercard work with Apple Pay?

A: Yes, you can register your activated Debit Mastercard with Apple Pay to begin making purchases right from your phone!

Q: Does my new STCU Debit Mastercard work with Android Pay? Or Samsung Pay?

A: Not currently, but we’re working on it. Stay tuned!

How to report a lost or stolen card

To report a lost or stolen STCU debit card, call the credit union immediately at (509) 326-1954, (208) 619-4000, or (800) 858-3750. After hours, call (888) 241-2510 in the United States or (909) 941-1398 internationally.

Fraud monitoring

For your protection, STCU's fraud monitoring service may call you if unauthorized use of your credit or debit cards is detected. Fraud monitoring calls originate only from one of two numbers: (877) 276-3721 and (866) 518-0213.
